Robert Kahns "Musical Diary" (Tagebuch in Tönen) composed between 1935 and 1949 is actually completetly undiscoverd. Even the few existing manuscrripts are not yet cataloged at all. Based on privat copies Klassik-resampled is trying in a longterm project to make this music completely audible and playable for the very first time. The selection of 70 pieces currently presented here cover by far less than 10 % of the existing 1160 (1168) Pieces and provide only the very first, non representative preview of this large project. The following slides give a first very rough short overview of some facts and ideas about this music. (Linked (blue) Items open recordings of the mentioned pieces in another Window or Tab.)
